The Automower 420 iQ is designed for larger properties, covering up to 4,000 m² in systematic mowing mode or up to 2,000 m² in irregular mowing mode. It is a strong step up for customers who need more capacity than smaller residential robotic mowers can provide.
Using Husqvarna EPOS technology, the mower can operate with virtual boundaries created in the Automower Connect app. This allows work areas, stay-out zones and mowing patterns to be adjusted digitally as your lawn or garden layout changes.
Cloud positioning or included RS1 reference station
The Automower 420 iQ can use Husqvarna Cloud positioning where coverage is available. If your property is outside cloud coverage, the included EPOS RS1 reference station can be used as a stand-alone positioning solution.
For large, complex or sloped properties, professional installation by an authorised Husqvarna dealer is recommended to help achieve the best possible setup and mowing result.
Installation note
Wire-free operation depends on correct EPOS planning, suitable satellite visibility and proper setup. Physical boundary wire installation is also available if preferred or if it better suits the property.
