Large lawn performance without traditional boundary wire
The Automower 440 iQ is designed for properties where lawn size matters. It can cover up to 8,000 m² in systematic mowing mode or up to 4,000 m² in irregular mowing mode, making it one of the most capable robotic mowers in the iQ range.
Using Husqvarna EPOS technology, the mower can work with virtual boundaries created in the Automower Connect app. This allows mowing areas, stay-out zones and mowing patterns to be adjusted digitally as your lawn, garden or property layout changes.
Cloud positioning or included RS1 reference station
The Automower 440 iQ can use Husqvarna Cloud positioning where coverage is available. If your property is outside cloud coverage, the included EPOS RS1 reference station can be used as a stand-alone positioning solution.
For extra-large, complex or sloped properties, professional installation by an authorised Husqvarna dealer is recommended. Correct EPOS planning, satellite visibility and charging station placement are especially important on larger sites.
Installation note
Wire-free operation depends on correct EPOS planning, suitable satellite visibility and proper setup. Physical boundary wire installation is also available if preferred or if it better suits the property.
